Spice up an ordinary vinegar and use as a salad dressing with this spicy herb vinegar recipe. Fresh herbs and selected spices give this vinegar its special aroma. It’s the ideal vinegar for many leaf salads as well as for cold meat and cheese salads.
1,5 litre vinegar
10 ml chopped pimiento
10 ml black peppercorns
15 ml mustard seeds
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
Place all ingredients except rosemary in a saucepan and heat to just under boiling point
Remove from stove and leave, covered, in a cool space overnight
Strain and bottle, adding a sprig of fresh rosemary to each bottle.
